    Although the ANBG has had a relatively short history, there are a number of memorials, commemorative building names and plaques on the site.
- Banks sculpture  to honour Joseph Banks in 1988
 - Banks Building  once known as 'The Banksia Centre', honours Joseph Banks
 - Boden Plaque  to honour Robert Boden's contribution
 - Burbidge Memorial Amphitheatre  in memory of Dr Nancy Burbidge
 - Barnard Plaque  a botanist with early links to the Gardens' establishment
 - Chifley Plaque  first tree planting ceremony

 - George Chippendale Plaque  Botanist, Herbarium Curator, Author
